I have tried on 4 different devices - same behaviour.
actually, what I REALLY like to do is "expire" the item - leave in the product list, but remove from display/purchase in the store. I asked for that capability over a year ago - any progress in having it included?

Thank you for the information. For some reason, we don't seem to
be able to see your issue. Can you do the following?
Try logging in using a different browser and see if it still
happens. If you're using Chrome, try Safari.
Try opening the error console log and see if something appears.
If you are using Chrome, go to the Options (three horizontal lines
me a screenshot if you see any error while deleting an item.
